Raised and rooted in South Texas, DJ and producer Sines is an integral part of the
evolution of US-based, Latinx club music’s growth and mutation. Integrating
undeniable influences from the borderlands’ natural cross-hatching of sounds,
Sines’ productions are based in knowledge that’s equal parts inspired by Looney
Tunes’ groundbreaking sample palette that forms the roots of reggaetón, as well
as the dripping, cathartic pace Houston’s legendary chopped and screwed
pioneer DJ Screw.
“El Amor Es Eterno” invokes the debut album from Houston-based producer Sines. Marking
the first album from SINES also signals the first full length release via the
freshly-established label Amor, a sub-label of Sines’ acclaimed MAJÍA imprint.
True to Amor’s mission to showcase the sensual side of sonic experimentation,
Sines changes from tempos and genres on his first full length outing. Also featured on
the album are vocalists Yayoyanoh who collabed with Sines in late 2020 and
Houston vocalist Buckamore and former Bala Club vocalist RULEZ. Synthesizing twenty
years of DJing and fifteen of production, the album will be “multi-genre” and Sines
presents it as his most emotional project ever.
